Head Coach: Sergei (Siarhei) Kazimirski

Sergei’s name is actually spelled “Siarhei” on all of his official documentation. When he arrived in Canada in 2002, they misspelled his name when they translated it. However, to avoid confusion about the pronunciation of his name, we named the club “Sergei’s Sabre Club.”

 

Sergei was born in Minsk, Belarus and started fencing at the age of 13. He became a national fencing champion in Belarus. His fencers have medalled at provincial, national, and international levels. Based on the ranking of his athletes, Sergei is one of the best sabre coaches in Canada.
